After studying abroad in Florence, Italy for a semester we developed a few must knows before visiting this wonderful country. For the most part, the city relies on Santa Maria Novella for travels throughout Europe. Santa Maria Novella, also referred to as S.M.N, is located on the west side of the main city. It is a stomping ground for almost all visitors who visit Florence by train.
